Gold Horn Pendant Bronze with Leather Chain05-347
The famous gold horn made in bronze for necklace with leather cord
Of course, one of the best-known finds from the Viking Age is the golden horns, which in 1802 suffered the terrible fate of being stolen and remelted. Fortunately, elaborate drawings of the horns had been made, and copies were later made, which can still be seen at the National Museum in Copenhagen.
The golden horns were found in Gallehus by Møgeltønder
The gold horn is 5.5cm long and 0.9cm wide at the widest end. The leather cord is included and is 50cm long.
